At Harvest, our vision is to see thousands of missionaries sent to the field to serve the Lord and reap his harvest…100% fully supported!

With years of experience in support-raising as global missionaries, and experience helping missionaries in the United States and Mexico, we have developed a simple program with newer strategies to help those just getting started.

Our goal is to coach individuals on how to become biblically prepared, trained with necessary tools, and equipped during support-raising appointments.

In faith, we are excited and confident that God will send thousands of laborers fully funded to serve on the mission field and fulfill the Great Commission.

Our Support-Raising Approach

What sets Harvest apart is our simplified approach to the support-raising process. We’ve reduced everything to these 4 key elements:

1. Biblical Foundation

Everything we do at Harvest is done by faith, based on what God says in scripture. We walk through 8 passages in the Old Testament (4) and New Testament (4) to better understand what God says about support-raising and we finish by creating a biblically-based mission statement & vision for our support-raising journey.

2. Partner Development

It’s important to understand WHO we are inviting to partner with us. We discuss the importance of “The God Ask” by Steve Shadrach and how to think about our potential supporters as “partners”. By the end of this part, we teach how to create the partner list and strategically group the partners in preparation for the communications step.

3. Communication Strategies

In many ways, communication is a key component of most relationships…and that doesn’t change here in the support-raising process with partners. We help guide this step with a communication framework that can be used when talking with potential partners, focusing on 4 important elements to include when talking with them.

4. Appointment Trainining

The last part of our simplified approach is the appointment training. We discuss different elements of the appointment, such as: how to make an appointment, how to conduct the appointment, how to end the appointment, and how to follow up. After this, we offer an additional session for anyone who wants to have a real-time mock appointment.
